Pitti Wines are the homage of Tenuta Agricola Torre a Cenaia to the Count Robert Pitti and his passionate commitment to the Tuscan wine and to our territory.
He started the production of these wines in Torre a Cenaia, bequeathing to the coat of arms of the family that enhances the prestigious labels.
The story of his noble house is renewed today in the guise of the new line of Pitti wines: the refined simplicity of the Burgundy-type bottle and the touch of modernity given by the color of the capsules and the back label enhance the coat of arms of the Pitti and project it in the future. Past, present and future in four great classics of Tuscan wine culture, for you at the tables of the Osteria in sizes 375 and 750 ml.
Pitti Chardonnay
100% Chardonnay grape. Pale yellow colour with greenish reflex, bright with a light perlage. Aromas of yellow fruits. The taste is savoury, fresh and crispy. Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with dishes of fish, white meats, pasta dishes with vegetables.
Pitti Vermentino
100% Vermentino grape. Bright green colour with fruit fragrance. The taste is savoury and fresh with an elegant structure. Excellent as an aperitif, is suitable for fish, shellfish, pasta with vegetables.
Pitti Rosato
100% Sangiovese grape. Pink color with purple hues. Delicate bouquet with hints of red fruits and rose petals. Harmonic and lively. Fish dishes, white meats, soups and baked vegetables.
Pitti Sangiovese
100% Sangiovese grape. Vivid ruby colour with violet reflex. Intense red fruits aromas with light floreal notes. The taste is fresh and armonius, well balance with good tannins structure. Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with roasted, grilled, red meats, fish.
Thanks to the legacy of the Count, the Estate has acquired the prestigious designation “Cenaja Ancient Pitti’s property “. The inspiration coming by this important and exclusive story gave birth to the Cenaja wine line, that has become the flagship of the wine production of our territory.
A emblazoned Vermentino, a Supertuscan and an inimitable Passito: here are for you Cenaja Vermentino, Torre del Vajo and Dolce Peccato, all signed by the pink pride of the Italian wine, the winemaker Graziana Grassini, also known as Lady Sassicaia.
Added to these is the Grappa Robert Pitti, a classic of the Tuscan tradition, that arises from the meeting of our best pomace with oak barrels and expresses all the intensity and the scents of our land suspended between the hills and the sea.
Torre del Vajo
Sangiovese, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Syrah grapes. Intense red ruby with violet reflex. Complex and intense aromas of balsamic notes and berry fruits with a velvety taste and a thick and soft structure.
Cenaja Vermentino
100% Vermentino grape. Brilliant straw colour with marked greenish. Very intense and persistent fragrance with floral marked notes, fine and elegant. Fresh, fruity, velvety, with good body, smoothed and balanced.
Dolce Peccato
Trebbiano and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Amber colour with a complex aromas that recall honey, almond and a hint of raisin. Warm and intense taste with a good persistence.
Per non dormire
Deep ruby red, deep purple hues. Enveloping aroma, with notes of blackberry and blueberry decided.
Grappa Robert Pitti
Robert Pitti Grappa is the result of the distillation of our best grapes. Twelve months aging in oak barrels gives to this distillate intense perfumes with pleasing hints of vanilla and toasted oak. The delicate and slightly fruity taste envelops the palate with its smoothness.
Pitti Brut
Pale yellow with greenish hues, brilliant. Fine and persistent perlage with fragrant smell, floral scents of acacia and citrus notes. Fresh, delicate, leaving a clean and velvety palate.
